"My artwork serves as a visual diary and time capsule, capturing contemporary routines and culture. I aim to inspire people to reflect on modern life and the way we live today."
"Journey to Solace"
A childhood love for painting lay dormant, waiting to be rekindled. As she journeyed through life, she discovered the courage to prioritize her own desires and reawaken her creative spirit.
Her artistic odyssey began with watercolors, inspired by the masterful works of Joseph Zbukvic, a renowned Australian painter. Driven to emulate his exquisite style, she sought guidance from two distinguished watercolor maestro from New Delhi, India – Amit Kapoor and Megha Kapoor Handa. Their mentorship profoundly impacted her understanding of painting’s nuances.
As she navigated her artistic journey, she encountered a diverse array of old masters and styles. Embracing a spirit of experimentation, she refused to limit herself to a single medium or technique. Instead, she eagerly explored various styles and mediums, seeking to discover her true passions.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge, she delved into the fundamentals and creative aspects of painting, drawing inspiration from renowned artists, books, and diverse resources. This dedication to continuous learning empowered her to grow as an artist, unlocking new avenues for self-expression.
Currently, she is venturing into the realm of oil painting, complemented by explorations in dry media such as charcoal, soft pastels, and oil pastels. Her artistic affinities lie in capturing the essence of portraits and florals, where she finds solace in the intricate dance of colors and textures.
For her, the artistic journey is a voyage of self-discovery, a winding path where creativity and introspection entwine. As she weaves her own unique narrative of love and connection, she finds kinship with fellow artists and stands in awe of nature’s breathtaking beauty.
Embracing authentic and cultivating growth was her motto.
